Nikki McLeary (Owner) has a strong background in project management. Having graduated from the University of Brighton in 1998 with a degree in Sport & Exercise Science (2.1 Bsc Hons) Nikki spent two years in an editorial position for several leading sport & exercise science magazines. In 2000 she moved to a project management role for a human performance centre in the City of London working with clients from blue chip companies as well as elite athletes such as the Jordan Formula 1 team and Vendee Globe sailors. Livigno Snow Holidays was created in 2005. In 2012 Nikki launched a publishing company (SkiFree Productions) as a platform to create tailor-made magazines for snow-related businesses.

Rob Horne (Owner) has a strong background in the tourism and service industry having spent 10 years working abroad for the leading UK tour operators as resort director. He was responsible for the daily logistical arrangements relating to a variety of popular summer and winter resorts, the last of which was Livigno. In 1994 Rob became independently involved with several Livigno-based enterprises in the position of director and is well-respected within the resort. Livigno Snow Holidays was created in 2005. Rob is also a qualified ski instructor and heads-up the unique Livigno Snow Safaris in conjunction with the local ski school.

Andi and Tina (Guides) have been regulars in Livigno for the past 10 years and know the slopes inside out! Hugely popular with our guests they are always available to offer advice on the resort be it the mountains, the restaurants… or the après-ski. As enthusiastic skiers they are on the slopes from morning to evening popping in and out of the kit hire centres to give a helping hand to families so parents have time to relax and enjoy their holiday as well. We could not get through a busy season without them!

Fabio (Representative) is a new addition to the team (we found him on Lake Como!) With a permanent smile on his face and a love for the outdoors he is the perfect person to ask about all things Italian (he is also a whizz in the kitchen if you need some authentic recipes). His relaxed attitude puts everyone in a holiday mood and we are delighted he has joined Livigno Snow Holidays.

What to expect from a Livigno Snow Holiday

We provide holidays at the most competitive costs, with the highest level of service, and the most amount of fun! We cater for absolute beginners, families and school groups who appreciate our local knowledge and in-resort presence, to seasoned skiers and boarders who may prefer to travel more independently. Basically a Livigno Snow Holiday is completely flexible and tailored for you, your friends and family.

Prior to your holiday you deal directly with Nikki at all times to ensure the booking process is a stress-free experience, while in-resort one of our team is always on hand to assist you from the moment you arrive in Livigno. Upon arrival we will either pick you up in our courtesy mini-bus if you come by snow-train/ski shuttle bus, or meet you at your accommodation if you come by private transfer (where possible we give you the option to link to other families on the same flight to share costs).

Ski passes will be waiting at your accommodation (hand-delivered at no charge) so you don't waste a moment of your holiday. We have the most centrally located accommodation available based either in the town centre or within a radius of 500 metres depending on your budget and preferences (Livigno stretches over 13km but all our guests are where the action is!)

Once you have checked into your hotel or chalet the next stop is the equipment hire centre (we only work with the most well-located, well-stocked and well-priced centres which have heated ski-in/ski-out storage in addition to kit hire damage insurance included in the price). A member of our team is on hand to ensure beginners receive the correct kit, while more advanced skiers/boarders are appropriately advised with regard to their ability levels and the snow conditions. There is a massive range of boots, skis and boards available on the market so specialist knowledge can be a welcomed relief!

On the first morning our team are always at the start of any lessons, courses or ski safaris to introduce you to your instructor/guide to ensure you have a stress-free experience. We have structured lessons for beginners to find their ski legs, coaching courses for guests wanting to take the next step to red runs and beyond, a range of exciting/leisurely ski safaris for those that like to explore, group skiing for young adults that want to blast around with their own age group, and the legendary Livigno Snow Ski Club for children aged 13 years and under who just basically want to rip around the slopes/forrest/half-pipes and have a massive amount of fun each day without parents slowing them down!

After the first day on the slopes we invite all our guests for canapés and a glass of bubbly in ‘Bivios’ which is Livigno’s most popular live music bar in the town centre so you can ask any questions about the resort or possible après-ski activities and excursions. During the week we have a brilliant apres-ski programme where you can pick and choose anything you might like to do from 7km tobogganing (not offered by any other company!) to 500cc snowmobiles with mountain feast to incredible off-piste hiking descents in powder through the forrest on the outskirts of Livigno.

Throughout your holiday you can see us as much or little as you like. It is your holiday but we are based in-resort should you require any help, advice… or just fancy a glass of red wine! If you are planning to visit Livigno please feel free to drop Nikki an email on for a non-obligatory quote. Even if you have been to Livigno before we can help you to get the most out of another visit with a helping hand or new experiences. We look forward to seeing you on the slopes!
